“Wound is where the light enters the heart.” Rumi
Promt: What is hiring you today? What will heal the hurt?
How do you heal?
By Aileen McPherson
With a sitch, or a pinch
Mixing paint on a dish, plant a seed
While churning mud, praise life.
For all you do is not strife,
Working hard is what I do when
Creating something new, outpouring
My mind an emotional well, telling
Stories, weaving a spell, sharing
Experiences around journeys, ready to tell.
Through every burn, or object breaks,
Paper blades, glad bleeds, welding
Bones, muscle strain, sweat, tears,
Strain the page until your dying day,
A Creator to the grave.
Soulfully teaching ways, I’ve lived
My life, trying to remain peaceable
Most days.
