Ai on Pride

Thou shall Not be prideful!

This is what I heard in my world,

Definition: Pride, ALL pride is sin, You should be ashamed.

Understand there were very few

You did a good job or

I’m proud of you.

It was work harder, move faster,

Multitask, and then

Why didn’t You get more done.

Being a creator, driven

Always making something,

Through necessity mainly,

Occasionally fancy free

for the family, sometimes me.

Since All pride equaled an evil soul, I strived to be humble.

For the highest quality in my work, since good work meant

A good job done, right?

Is this prideful?

If you have to ask,

It is, thou art shame.

Nowadays when someone saysThank you! thoughtfully, kindly, and honestly, these two words still enduce panic. Thank you for what? I did nothing only what I was told, my mind screams screams they can hear the pride, fear overwhelming fear.

In my heart I struggle daily to accept a simple Thank you, and not feel afraid to accept a complement, pride is also good.

My life is changing daily, Slowly

I’m learning new ways to think, different perspectives, and

To be thankful.

Fore when someone takes the time to give you thanks, it means something you did

Touched them deeply.
