This is a recycled 8″X24″ canvas that was black with the white spatter, while the mermaid is what I saw swimming in the inky darkness, so using finger and paint I started their outline in pink and will continue to start the layering process. They are ascending to the light from the depths, smooth and gliding I’m not sure what color they are, a peacock, a rainbow, or maybe celestial or some combination of all the above.
